AppPlus

AppPlus has evolved as a result of 6 years continuous application virtualisation experience and project delivery. During this time we have seen the technology mature and a number of key vendors are offering enterprise class solutions. Our primary focus is around Microsoft's App-V, which is available as part of the Microsoft Desktop Optimisation Pack (MDOP) and the 2008 RDS CAL (previously Terminal Services CAL).

Due to the maturity of data centre virtualisation strategies, the release of new Windows operating systems (windows 2008, Windows 7, x64) and the invention of new desktop delivery models (VDi, Client Type1 Hypervisors) focus on the users' desktop environment is once again coming to the forefront.

Addressing large desktop estate projects can be particularly daunting. AppPlus' intentions is to enable organisations to adopt the new technologies that ease these "user endpoint" projects, by making the process of adoption more efficient, whilst also considering the importance of post implementation and operational requirements.

AppPlus' mission is to produce software that provides real and tangible value to businesses in both project delivery and in ongoing "business as usual" operations.

With over 6 years of real-World application virtualisation experience, we believe our development team is in a unique position to produce genuinely relevant software.

Our current software modules, OSD+ and Batch+ are just the beginning of a larger roadmap, which we are confident will continue to deliver substantial cost savings to our Customers.

AppPlus is fully committed to the App-V community, which has been providing value to the application virtualisation market for many years. Our intention is to give as much as possible back to this community with relevant free tools and knowledge, gained during development.

Part of our commitment to the community is to release beta versions of our software as soon as possible, enabling members to influence its development. This ethos will make the software extremely relevant for the intended user base.
